Roberto Sol – an acclaimed artist not only in the global lounge and chillout scene – has now brought forth another masterpiece with his brand new album „Hotel Aurora“. Including all the ingredients from the musical realms of pop, jazz and world music the album has turned out to be an impressive documentation of musical globalism. Downtempo beats and modern jazz elements combined with exotic african and asian elements turn your living room into a private Ibiza lifestyle zone. The sound reflects Roberto Sol's own cosmopolitan attitude featuring once again a bunch of great musicians like the highly acclaimed trumpet player Tillman Mueller, ibiza chill out legend Chris Le Blanc, Florito and many more.
The album starts with the latin flavoured jazzy lounge song „Momentos azules“, featuring the passionate voice of singer Ines Prados from Grenada, Spain. Roberto produced several songs with Ines in the last years, some got compiled on international well known compilations, like „Erotic lounge“ by Sony or „Soundscapes“ by Porsche-Design.
Female vocalist Sandra Grace Muhuri from Kenya provide that exotic touch to the electronic influenced jazzy lounge song „Tomorrow“. The very talented trumpet player Tillman Mueller, who used to play with avantgarde jazz legend Fred Frith on several releases, lends his distinctive jazz tunes to the song „Till man comes“. The track „My decision“ is featuring „The voice of Germany“ finalist and kenian singer Gladys Mwachiti.
The album presents short stories which are meant to give the listener a mixture of joy of life and sensuality. „Hotel Aurora“ – Check in and meet the guests. 100% Roberto Sol at it’s best.
